Azienda Agricola Brovia

Brovia is one of traditional Barolo's quiet treasures. Founded at Castiglione Falletto in 1863 and rebuilt from 1953 by Giacinto Brovia, the estate is now in the hands of his daughters Elena and Cristina, who farm a remarkable set of crus — Rocche di Castiglione, Villero and Garblèt Sué around the village, plus Ca' Mia in Serralunga — and raise them the old way: long macerations, big neutral casks and time. The results are Barolos of transparency and classical structure, each cru speaking with its own accent, alongside Dolcetto and Barbera of unusual seriousness.
