Chiara Boschis (Azienda Agricola E. Pira e Figli)
19 bottlings in catalog

Chiara Boschis took over the historic E. Pira e Figli cellar in the village of Barolo in 1990, becoming one of the first women to run an estate in the appellation — and one of the so-called Barolo Boys who dragged the region into the modern era. Her flagship has always been Cannubi, the most famous hill in Barolo, where she later led the campaign to convert the entire cru to organic farming. The style has matured from its barrique-forward youth into something closer to synthesis: perfumed, silky, immaculately clean Nebbiolo that honors both camps of the old style wars. With her brother Giorgio alongside since 2010 and holdings extended to Mosconi in Monforte, the tiny estate remains one of Barolo's most personal — and most consistent.
