The estate

Domaine René Rostaing holds some of the most coveted ground in Côte-Rôtie, including old-vine parcels on the Côte Blonde and La Landonne that came down through two legendary Ampuis growers, Albert Dervieux and Marius Gentaz-Dervieux. René Rostaing built the domaine into a benchmark over four decades, and his son Pierre now carries it forward in the same spirit: Syrah of perfume and finesse rather than sheer force, raised with a restrained hand so that each slope speaks clearly. The single-vineyard Côte Blonde and La Landonne stand at the summit of the range, with a small production of Condrieu alongside.
