Few houses span Burgundy the way Maison Louis Jadot does. Founded in Beaune in 1859 and still headquartered there, Jadot farms over 270 hectares across the Côte d'Or, Côte Chalonnaise, and Beaujolais — including the domaines of the Héritiers Louis Jadot and the Gagey family — while its négociant arm reaches every corner of the region. The house style, shaped over four decades by the late Jacques Lardière and carried on by Frédéric Barnier, favors patience and transparency: firm, age-worthy Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that put appellation before artifice, from Beaujolais cru to Le Montrachet.
