The estate

Vieux Télégraphe is the voice of a single great vineyard: La Crau, the high plateau of Châteauneuf-du-Pape where a crust of rolled galets covers iron-rich clay, giving wines of uncommon mineral drive in an appellation known for warmth. The Brunier family has farmed here across generations, and their grand vin is a benchmark of structured Châteauneuf — Grenache and Mourvèdre with a saline, herb-scented spine that rewards a decade in the cellar as few southern Rhônes can. Télégramme, drawn from younger vines, opens the door earlier. The name honors the old optical telegraph tower that once stood on the plateau.
