Tasting note
Stephan Reinhardt · Wine Advocate · 95
The 2017 Pinot Noir is intense and sweet but also spicy, pure and flinty on the nose indicating remarkable ripeness and concentration. On the palate, this is a concentrated, firm and tightly structured Pinot Noir with tannins that are still a bit drying but also juicy and intense fruit. It's closer to the 2012 in terms of fruit and sweetness, but it's less finessed and more tannic. Still on its way, this is a wine that needs to be cellared for another four or more years.
