The 2021 Syrah Schist is completely different from the Granite counterpart, so stony, like just inhaling warm granite at first and gradually, the black fruit grows in stature. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Quite a "bold" Syrah, very focused with an uncompromising steely finish. This just exudes terroir.
