Blanc de Lynch-Bages 2025

White peach and jasmine aromas, floral and fragrant with some pear drop notes. Smells really clean and fragrant. An initial burst of fruit with lively acidity before settling into a cool freshness with a soft mineral finish. Some creamy lemon and lime, mouthwatering acidity and a really slick, clean long finish. I like this a lot. Feels hands-off, so mineral and pure, not hugely layered but more focused and straight - delicate and nuanced, less demonstrative than it can be. First vintage with 5% Sauvignon Gris. 3.20pH. Bottled end of March 2026. 11ha in total for white grape plantings.

The 2025 Blanc de Lynch-Bages pops from the glass with notes of fresh pineapple, passion fruit, and elderflower with touches of jasmine tea, wet slate, and candle wax. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and intense with a chalky texture enveloping the bright tropical fruit layers, finishing with a zesty lift. The blend is 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Sémillon, 11% Muscadelle, and 5% Sauvignon Gris. It has a pH of 3.2, and the alcohol is 13.4%.

A tight and solid wine with phenolic tension and bright acidity. Medium body, with sliced green apples and pears, with hints of honeysuckle, as well as mineral and sea salt undertones. Crunchy finish. A blend of 60% sauvignon blanc, 24% semillon, 11% muscadelle and 5% sauvignon gris. Drink now.

Salted crackers, preserved lemons, patisserie notes, love the white peach and pear flesh, this is an exceptional Blanc de Lynch Bages in a vintage that had challenges for the whites after a hot dry summer. 25hl/ha yield. 3.20 pH. Harvest August 26 to September 4. 50% new oak, already bottled.

The 2025 Blanc de Lynch-Bages is terrific. This is the first year with some Sauvignon Gris. The 2025 offers a beguiling mix of textural richness and aromatic intensity. Pear, green apple and jasmine open first, followed by light tropical overtones that lend an exotic flair. This was just bottled but is drinking very well today.

Checking in as a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Sémillon, 11% Muscadelle, and 5% Sauvignon Gris, the 2025 Château Lynch-Bages Blanc is a vibrant, racy white with a perfumed nose of citrus, honeyed tropical flowers, mint, and chalky minerality. Medium-bodied on the palate, it's fresh, focused, and balanced, with bright acidity and a clean, crisp finish. Already bottled, it should have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink 2026-2041.

Notes of clove, flowers, confit citrus and spices preface the 2025 Blanc de Lynch-Bages, a medium- to full-bodied, rich and layered wine built around a lively core of fruit, with delicate acidity through the mid-palate and a long, saline finish. Bottled just 10 days prior to tasting, it remains particularly expressive at this early stage. The 2025 Blanc de Lynch-Bages had already been bottled, as usual. It has a vibrant nose with crisp gooseberry and Granny Smith scents, and just a touch of apricot in the background. The palate is well balanced, with a fine bead of acidity, bright and lively, and a malic, slightly herbaceous finish. Fine.
