The estate

Giuseppe Rinaldi was Barolo's conscience: a veterinarian-turned-winemaker nicknamed "Citrico" for his acid wit, who defended the old ways — blended crus, long macerations, big old botti — against every modern fashion. From treasured parcels in Brunate, Le Coste, Ravera, and Cannubi San Lorenzo, the estate bottles just two Barolos, Brunate and the multi-vineyard Tre Tine, both wines of rose-petal perfume, taut tannin, and immense patience. His daughters Marta and Carlotta have carried the house forward unchanged since his death in 2018, and demand for the tiny production has never been higher.
