One of the most anticipated wines of the night, the 2010 Barolo Brunate delivers on all levels. Dark, potent and expansive on the palate, the Brunate captures all the magic of this great Barolo vintage. It is at once incredibly precise and impressively constituted, with explosive energy that builds over time. This is what Barolo is all about. Two thousand ten was the first vintage in which regulations required only a single vineyard to be listed on labels, although wines can be vineyard-designated with only 85% of juice from that site.

Expressive and defined, the 2010 Barolo Brunate delivers excellent definition and focus. The wine ushers forth a pretty ensemble of dark berry, spice and balsam herb aromas that are well balanced to form a harmonious wine. This pretty wine lends wattage to the classic 2010 vintage.
